Afolasade Ogunkoya

Afolasade Mojisola Ogunkoya is a Managing Partner at Hinsworth Limited. She is a Financial Analyst with vast experience in Equities and Fixed income Sales & Trading, Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, Financial modelling and Equity research. She started her career as a Business Development Officer at International Energy Insurance (IEI) where she garnered extensive skills on the marine insurance business.

Later on, she joined FBNQuest Merchant bank as the Head, equities sales in their channels management division and was instrumental in
closing major transactions that projected the organization on the top 10 brokerage firm in Nigeria. She has worked in various investment banks in Nigeria where she rose to the top as a manager alongside starting Hinsworth and other business entities. She is currently the Head, Sales at EDC Securities Limited – A subsidiary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporation where she manages their UHNI and foreign clients.

Afolasade bagged her Bsc at the University of Lagos, Akoka where she finished with a 2nd class upper in their Insurance Department andhas an MSc in Financial Analysis and Fund Management from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. She is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and student member-Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
